  • The PIN is used in the pairing procedure
  • The PIN may be entered on UI level but may also be stored in the device;
    • e.g.in the case of a device without sufficient MMI for entering and displaying digits.
  • When the Bluetooth PIN is referred to on UI level, the term ’Bluetooth Passkey’should be used.
