- OpenCV (Open Source Computer Vision Library,
http://opencv.org) is the project where our expertise in Computer Vision and algorithm design & optimization grew. Started at Intel back in 1998, the library became one of most popular tools in computer vision industry, and is also used in various university courses and research projects. The library reached 6,000,000 downloads in 2013. Four members of OpenCV dev. team who have been working on the library for more than 10 years, are now with Itseez and, thanks to Willow Garage, the library made a great leap forward in 2009-2012. We work with OpenCV foundation on further development of the library.
